How Sister Works
Sister's memory depends on your Reading Plan.
• No Reading Plan: Sister remembers what you tell her until you close the app.
• Awaited Traveler: Sister remembers what you tell her for one week.
• Beloved Guest: Sister remembers what you tell her for one fortnight.
• Little One: Sister remembers everything.
Your readings reset each Sunday. You can always purchase single readings in the meantime if you run out.
Yes! You can retake your attunement quiz at any time by heading to Info > Retake Attunement.
Yes. Your reading logs are anonymized and securely stored. We will never sell or share your data.
At the bottom of your reading, you'll see a small double-page icon that will allow you to copy your reading and paste it to Notes, Messages, or elsewhere. We don't currently have a way to save your readings in-app, but that's coming soon!
The Coin
Billing & Subscriptions
When you subscribe to the Awaited Traveler or Beloved Guest Reading Plans, you receive a number of Bonus Readings as a one-time gift. Bonus Readings will be used only after you've reached your weekly limit.
Head to Info > Manage Reading Plan and select the tier you'd like. Upgrades are instant, and downgrades will take effect after the current billing cycle so you don't lose any readings you've already been billed for.
You can unsubscribe from any Reading Plan by heading to Info > Manage Reading Plan > Unsubscribe. This will take you to your Subscriptions (if you're on iPhone) or the Google Play Store (if you're on Android), where you can manage your subscription status.
The Technical Reality
Troubleshooting
If the app freezes, try restarting. If a simple restart doesn't work, you may need to update to the latest version. Sometimes older devices need a little extra breathing room. Try restarting the app or clearing your device's cache.
That means we're doing a backend update! These usually take a few hours. We'll keep you posted via push notifications whenever we do an update that affects your usage.
This means our servers are experiencing a lot of traffic. It usually clears in a few moments.
Yes! Your history with Sister is tied to the app, not to your phone. Simply sign in with the same account, then head to Info > Manage Reading Plan > Restore Purchase to restore your current Reading Plan.
